IMO switching to x86 is the stupidist move Jobs has ever made.

Just curious why? I've seen mixed reactions to this. Obviously there will be new lower cost Macs coming out and it is possible there will be even more software support. Of course you are still going to get the great Mac OS which in many opinions is the best part of an Apple computer. For most of us it wasn't about the hardware, simply the OS itself and other great software available for Mac. When it comes down to it, x86 hardware either out performs or is equivilant to PPC in every way. (There are many benches and comparisons available via google tyo support this) It's the OS and software that makes Apple so much better. In fact when arguing price wise it is important to note that Apple provides and OS and a great software suite with their computer that you often don't get without paying extra in the Windows world. I probably just started a huge flame, but so be it. Had to throw my 2 cents in anyway.
