My son's girlfriend has a G5 tower. What kind of microphone does she need to use Gaim or any other audio functions? Will the old mikes work that used to come with the mac 7600s and such, the circular ones with the clip? Is the G5's audio in a standard microphone jack? Can you use all the windows mikes available?
