I recently installed a Sonnet Serial ATA card and Seagate SATA HDD in
my B&W G3 350 (512RAM, Rage 128 16VRAM, DVD-DL, 80 ATA Primary HDD)
I also recently upgraded to OS 10.4.4
I formatted the drive and it works - seems slow to me- however the
drive does not show up in System Profiler under ATA or Serial ATA -
the controller card shows up under PCI cards
Is this right?
Is there any way to determine that I am getting the benefit of the
SATA drive's speed?
Thanks
