I keep getting the following message when my computer tries to read manufactured music disks. "You have inserted a disk containing no volumes that Mac OS X can read." I can choose only "ignore" or "eject" as "initialize" is not an option. I'd like to transfer recently purchased music to iTunes but am unable
to do this. Is there an update or patch to allow me to read these disks?

System stats - Dual 1 GHz PowerPC G4 running Mac OS X 10.2.8 with an internal Pioneer SuperDrive 104.

Kari, have you made any progress with this?

I've got a few music CDs here that my B&W won't read / same error you're seeing; OS X 10.4.3. They're fine in the Dell laptop and in my old PM 7300 (OS 9.2.2) tho.
