Last time I was in Paris (1999) there was an Apple Store on Boulevard

Michel. This was long before Apple opened any stores in the US. It was
such a
surprise, I took a photo which my local Mac User Group ran in its
newsletter. The
price difference will of course vary with the Euro vs. $ exchange
rate. Euro
had gone down recently, but looks to be heading up again.
Anyway, if it turns out to be cheaper to buy the hardware here, I'm
sure the
French documentation will be readily available.
The list of Apple Stores at Apple's web site does not include France.
But Google gives this:

which includes a phone number for ordering (Vous pouvez également
