I have a Quicksilver dual 800 in my Digital 
Audio and it works fine, but be warned about the L3 cache... on my set up at
least, getting it working is iffy...Sonnet or Powerlogix utilities were needed
to get the L3 caches up in os 9 and Panther, but I've not found a way to run
them in Tiger.  And I've spent a fair amount of time trying.

It was Len that referred me to the article he menitoned, and it was an easy
install.
