Hi, I'm the owner of a "new" iMac G3 (500) running Jaguar with no Classic environment installed. I want to install Tiger, but prior to doing so need to install a firmware update that must be done while the system is running OS9.
I have the original OS9 disk that came with the iMac, and I tried inserting it in the drive and holding "C" during startup to try to boot from that disk and install OS9, but after a minute or so it skipped by the disk and booted into Jaguar. Is there a way that I can install the OS9 while running Jaguar and then reboot into the OS9? Thank you, Greg __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? En finir avec le spam?
