IMO, it's polite to include the URL, or a TinyURL <http://
www.tinyurl.com> if it's really long. Plugins exist for both Safari
and Firefox/Mozilla that makes getting a TinyURL as simple as
clicking a link.
At the Tiny site - at http://tinyurl.com/#toolbar - you can drag
something to your toolbar in Safari (and perhaps other browsers).
When on a site that has a long url, clicking this toolbar item
automatically delivers you the text of the shorter url...
