You will want a jumper at ONLY at J3. Wow, easier than I expected. This will be 500/83.333. If you take a look at your processor, it should say either 7400/450, 7400/466, or 7400/500. If it says 7400/500, there is a good chance you will be able to run at 542MHz. In this case, also put a jumper on J1. Thats if you want to overclock your processor.
Please note, that only earlier beige G3s supported 83MHz bus. If you take a look at your board, there is an attractive shiny bluish processor, somewhat near the main processor. The last digits on it will be either 66 or 83, if its 83 you can run an 83MHz bus, if its 66, you cant. Also, please realize, these jumper settings may not apply to your G4 upgrade. So, what that means, is its possible that doing this wont work, but I have a feeling it will. Hopefully someone else knows. Oh, and you will need all PC100 memory, PC66 wont work properly at 83MHz.
