Hello to all.

Today I faced the daunting task of disassembling an Apple keyboard in order to fix issues with repeating keys, specially the "a". This is obviously not a service task planned by Apple. But the local distributor is not able to supply a keyboard that doesn't repeat the keys in the left side.

For the record, the size of the Allen key required for removing the outermost screws is 1,3 mm. It was hard to find.

I cleaned the printed-circuit films with 100% alcohol and cotton, and also the separating film. I tightened the myriad mini-screws holding the keyboard assembly from the center outward. I avoided wiping the LED contacts just in case.

So far, it works OK now: a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a

As said by Lennon, I've got blisters in my fingers.

Best regards.

Ing. Pablo Roufogalis L.
