I looks like you are looking for a product which will strip out the
virus and leave the Office file in pristine condition. I don't know
of any product which will do that (I do not use PCs or Office for
many good reasons, this among them), but there is a good, free anti-
virus scanner for OS X:

I run it occasionally to see what is up. All it ever finds are
contaminated files which Mail.app has already consigned to the Junk
pile. As far as I know, it just gets rid of the offending file for
you, but I have never played around to see what it can do. You may
want to delve into the preferences and menus to see if it can do any
cleaning for you.
