no, it is not - it has s.th. to do with 'evaluation of the unlikelihood'.
Simply because the (perhaps Essene-like) "Mechoqeq Movement" is not yet
analyzed, any simplifying equalization of DSS and ancient Essenoi/Essaioi
references lacks of internal substance and - sad to say - logic.
BTW a parallel existence of 'Zadokites' and 1st century CE 'Zealots' would
testify a political oxymoron. All we might state in the moment is a
philosophical changeover from the former to the latter, one generation after
the paleographic attested rapid alanticlimax of 'Qumranite' scroll
production in the early 20s of the 2nd c. BC
