Subject: [Megillot] A correction on "Straight Questions"

>From the very beginning it was just an "ersatz-fact", a fiction based upon
the "Josephean" influenced assumption of parallel existence of literarily
productive, philosophical orientated Zadokite "Essenes" and literarily
reproductive,
"Phineas' zeal for God" recopying , ie.action orientated "Zealots". Such a
shift
in the covenant from faith in to zeal for Gold, the common radicalization
determines
the Qumran deposit as early (greg knows my position herein) and the finding
at Masada as later relict of a usually following political rennaissance
former basic
concepts. The Zealots are, then, to be understood as radical Neo-Zadokites.
The "Qumran parties" show absolutely no knowledge of Phineas Zealots or even
Phineas-like zeal (actually the name Phineas is irrelevant in the corpus)
and there
is thus no interaction whatsoever between the earlier and the later pious
ones.
