Cool, Simon. The PCI list is slow now I think most have drifted here.

It is nice that some folks have money to throw at problems but some of
us must use what we can afford.
Hence from the wisdom of the list Mother we have Low End Mac. Let
those who can afford it enjoy their purchases with blessings. Let them
also be aware of how blessed they are! And not rub the noses of the
rest of us in our financial difficulties. As if that was the mark of
one's worth on the planet.

Old tools are still tools.capable of doing much even though superseded
by the new. As my brother would say were he still alive " It works
better than the one you don't have!".

Two uears ago I had a lengthy video production gig with a multi
billion dollar multinational corporation with 600 plants world wide.
They gave me an obsolete Dell with a 1.5 Mhz CPU and an amateur grade
edit program. I did the Photoshop work and some other tasks at home on
my 7X00 hybrid with OS 9! Cheap so and sos!
But the Mac work made the production better. More professional. As a
journeyman I do what it takes to get the job done. And will utilize
whatever tools are at my disposal.
