Thanks for the advice. I have contacted the OWC tech. staff and they were very helpful. They suggesedt that I removed all memory and taking just one 512 DIMM (out of the three), insert it in one of the slots and try to boot up. If it fails, uses the next slot and then the third slot. Then do the same for the other two DIMMs. I have tested just one DIMM so far and it has failed. When I do the same with the other two DIMMs I will get back to OWC.
The only DIMM that works in my G4 DA are double sided, 8 chips to a side. These OWC sticks are singled sided, 8 chips to a side. That model should support 512 MB sticks, but they have to be the right type. I looked up a G4 466Mhz (Digital Audio) and if it handles 512MB sticks, then yours should. Describe what is happening to you and I think they will take care of you. They supported me a couple of years back when I got memory that did not work. They are not the cheapest, but one reason I liked them was that they knew the Mac products and treated their customers right.
