MDD Dual 1.25, 2GB RAM OSX.4.11 Problem, manifested as random System Freeze. [When all keyboard response ceases, and the 'on screen clock' stops ticking over the seconds, That's what I call a FREEZE.]
Traced a 'memory' problem to one 512Meg module. Running Memtest, was used to trace down the defective module. Replaced by Omni. Received replacement module yesterday. Installed in MDD --- Back to 2GB RAM, Whoopee!!! Surfing the WEB, ---- FREEZE Much time spent swapping Modules around, running Memtest, No Joy, Nothing showed up as defective. Back to the net ---- FREEZE again. Only commonality noted --- Dial-up Internet connection. Which logs would be the best candidates for searching for the problem?
