Was wondering why iTunes reported an Update ... but it didn't connect 
and download ...

I was having trouble with iTunes 7.7.1 use of aiff files and Album 
Artwork, hoping for an iTunes 7.7.2 fix.

Now there's 8 ... with requirements ... (not to mention the 
Intel-a-mania about iTunes Store Video) ...

Macintosh Software

     * Mac OS X version 10.4.9 or later
     * QuickTime 7.5.5 or later

Anyone else running hopefuls like Panther and disappointed with being 
somewhat left behind?

Guess there's always Tiger  ...
