Only the Chicken Soup list emails end up in the Spam folder. Googles spam filter learns, just like Mail.app. You need to go into the Spam folder and open these and hit the "Not Spam" button. Do this for each one. You may have deleted some in the past that were marked as spam, so you may need to do this several times for the behavior to change. Google spam filter is very rigorous.
