Migration Assistant will be offered during the setup process. It can  
transfer everything, but it may be a long process. Time would be  
shorter to do as Bruce said, and Upgrade installation.

Another thought, I have a G5 with two 500 GB HDs, and I decided to use  
Disk Utility to raid mine in a striped raid. It worked perfectly and  
my HD access speed almost doubled. I use an external HD for backup  
now. With Leopard having Time Machine, if you need a new wireless  
router, the 1 TB Apple Time Capsule with wireless N router is nice for  
backup.
