I've got a Quicksilver 867 (just got it, severely used) running 10.4.11. Printer is an HP 5550.
Printer worked fine UNTIL I set up a sub-account for my son. I went back to my own admin-level account, tried to print a routine list from a Word doc, and it printed about 4-5 lines at the top of the page, skipped a few, printed a couple more, then skipped the entire rest of the page. Tried it again. Exact same result, right down to skipping the exact same lines. Tried the same thing with a TextEdit doc. Skipped the entire page -- the printer thought it over as if it were about to print normally, picked up the paper internally as usual, then just spat it out blank. Tried a test page. Perfect. Printed a TIFF image through Grab. Perfect. Ran a restart. Same everything. Thoughts? Guesses?
