I purchased Applecare a couple years back from ebay for a PowerBook. The first shipment was an empty box and I had to convince the seller this was not acceptable. He did send the real thing with a little coaxing. The only real problem I have had using PayPal is on the swap list. If the seller sends the product described (working or not) then PayPal will not initiate a refund. At least on ebay there is recourse although I've never had to use it. No more iBook G4s for this boy (over 50% with problems). --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed Low End Mac's G3-5 List, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs.
