Hello, I have an Off-Topic issue that's confounding my efforts to
figure it out. I am a member of a Photography website known as Canon
Digital Photography On The Net. It's a Forum type of thing (based on
vb Bulletin ?) and I very much enjoyed visiting and learning things
there.

the prob: the site will not load in my browser anymore. I get a page
load error. "http://www.photography-on-the.net/forum/index.php"; is my
bookmark address.
(it may contain an error of some kind, but none of the links I find on
google work either)

the question: how do I find out if the 'site' exists anymore?

Further Info:

I still receive occassional emails from the site relating to my being
subscribed to a michigan related forum, so I assume the 'site' exists
in some form some where, but I just can't get to it. I did try a link
from within the email, but it didn't work either.

I did a search engine look for info about the site being 'gone' but
didn't turn up anything. None of the links from Google, Ask, and
Yahoo, worked either.

I'm confused because the site seemed to have a 'relatively' huge user
base ranging across the US, Canada, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
I also have received aproximately 4 emails from the 'site' since my
page load errors appeared. It's not adding up.

The site also has a Nikon permutation and a general one as well. The
general term for the site within the users is POTN and is how I find
it in google when I'm away from my home browser.

thanks all
Richard
