Easy- Just unplug the drives, remove the small screw that hold the
sled to the frame, remove the 4 screws on the sides. Get an extra sled
and put the new drive next to the remaining one instead of
"piggybacked", it won't run as hot and will last longer. You didn't
say which OS you are running but when you startup with the new drive
you should get a message that guides you to initialize the new hard
drive.
If you want a drive larger than 128 GB I prefer to use a PCI
controller card (you can use software to "see" the drive but you will
still have to split it into partitions). SATA controller cards and
drives are readily available; I use a FirmTek.
The processor isn't too hard to do but different brands have different
installaton procedures. I have some Sonnets, OWCs and PowerLogix
upgrades, the Sonnet is easiest of all to install.
