You must remove the front cover panel that is in front of the floppy drive. Open the case by removing the side panel so you can unhook the tab of the panel from the chassis. Once you remove the front cover, unscrew the screws holding the metal mounting plate for the floppy drive. Pull the metal plate out of the chassis. Unplug the floppy drive ribbon. Unscrew the screws holding the floppy drive to the metal plate. You are done removing the floppy drive. Follow these steps in reverse order to install the replacement floppy drive.
