Hello,
I'm back again using my trusty eMac with OS 10.5.5.
I want to thank everyone for helping me with my problem of slowness
with my computer. I have my internal HD and an external HD, both of
which were operating very slowly even though I have Verizon DSL. I
also had a problem with receiving mail when using the internal drive.
When using the external drive it worked fine. However, yesterday while
working with my e-mails, they froze. I tried to force them to quit.
The external icon disappeared. The HD unmounted itself and I have no
idea how to get it to mount. If you answer this message and don't hear
from me, it's because your e-mails are not getting to me. What a mess.
By the way, amists all of this, my computer returned to its higher
speed.
