CCC nuke effect... <http://forums.bombich.com/viewtopic.php?t=13294>
CCC 3.1.2's release notes say this is fixed: "* Fixed an issue in which CCC relied solely on the HFS+ volume UUID (Universally Unique Identifier) for identification, which, in rare cases, led to CCC trying to clone a volume to itself." But I think folx need to be aware of this potential problem, so they can be careful... Keep your volumes named uniquely and ALWAYS double check the selected source and target before hitting that Clone button! - Dan. -- - Psychoceramic Emeritus; South Jersey, USA, Earth --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed Low End Mac's G3-5 List, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs.
