Anne: Did something change in your machine's environment, either hardware or software? My G4 Quicksilver 733mHz Tower sleeps well only when running OS 9.2.2. When running OS 10.3.9 Panther, only the screen would sleep, the hard drives keep running until I shut down. There could be many suspect reasons for this, and I never spent the time to isolate the one. In my case, I suspect something involving internet connectivity via cable, or my Canon scanner which draws its power from the Mac, or the Epson printer?
