Photoshop 7 was the crossover version: the last to run on OS 9 and the
first on OSX. So, it is getting a bit dated. It will not run on an
Intel system or on a PPC system running OSX 10.5. CS2 will run on the
newer machines, but is not supported by Adobe. I have been using in on
a Mac Pro 2x2 GHz Dual Core, running 10.5, for just over a year, with
no problems. Version Cue does not work on my setup, but that is the
only thing I have noticed.

Your Photoshop 7 should entitle you to some upgrade discounts, so
check with Adobe. I have been getting discounted upgrade prices since
our original copy of version 4. I tend to upgrade about every other
version. The CS versions legally allow you to install on two machines:
such as one at work and one at home, or one desktop and one laptop.
