Using the Leopard DVD, Repair did not reveal anything wrong, but I  
did it twice just the same.

Also Repaired Permissions, and it indicated a few things needed  
correcting ... like the new Flash plugin I downloaded and installed  
recently. A few other things I cannot remember.

Restarting, I was able to access the logs again.
