Folks, I have a G4 Powermac DP 533. I've maxed out the RAM, added a DVD-RAM, a flashed Nvidia 6200 video card, a second IDE drive, and a couple of msc. PCI cards. Right now it's not a bad machine, but just a little doggy using Open Office or on certain web sites. I'd like to keep the machine since it will dual-boot. If I were to invest a little bit more, what would give me the most speed for my upgrade dollar: an aftermarket 1.5 GHz processor, or a PCI SATA card and drives? What has your collective experience been? Enquiring minds want to know!
