Okay everybody,

I just ran my little tests and confirmed that you're all correct (Dan,
Bruce, Fabian, Ken, Clark) about AW 6 booting natively in OS X without
Classic.

Wow, I had no idea, but AW 6 stayed on when I shut down Classic, and
booted back up from "scratch" when I double clicked it in the dock, and I
was able to open and read one of my AW 6 files -- by contrast, my Claris
Emailer went down when I shut off Classic, and when I tried to reboot it
with Classic off, Classic immediately restarted and then Claris Emailer
booted. I dunno what I was looking at that one time I thought I saw AW 6
going down when I turned off Classic that other time, but yes, AW 6
doesn't need Classic.
