I got it, twice, and Dan made a a bunch of comments on it.

On another (non-Mac related) email list I've been on for a long time  
(nigh unto 15 years now...this has been a very long-lived community),  
it's called the "Black Hole of Quality"

Arguments equivalent to "how many angels can stand on the head of a  
pin" will rage on for weeks, but someone makes a meaty and substantive  
post and all you hear is the whirr-whirr-whirr of hard drives as folks  
sock that one away for reference and later perusal.

FWIW, Thanks...your post helped me deal with a bunch of annoying dupes  
in my library.

Finally, the Google is also sometimes rather negligent on getting me  
postings to this and other lists, and I've heard others complain about  
it too.
