Finding new devices can be a PITA. My approach is to be iron fisted - get the MAC from the sticker on the device, and tell my router to assign it a static address. Alternately, since I have things fairly organized on our LAN(s), I can browse the router and just look at the DHCP table. Of course, if the device isn't preset for DHCP, I just bring it up on a 1:1 link first... My days of just plugging things in blindly are so over - two devices in a row last year that screamed over their NICs so much their flood ground our LAN to a halt. >The video quality is quite good.
