I think I answered my own question. I hooked up the trendnet  
and both apple computers. It worked once. After that it seemed to  
start and stop. I think I must have created a circle of power or  
something because if I turned on one computer,the other came on also.  
I am back to using  two monitors. I guess I am lucky I didn't hurt my  
computers.
