I'd say No, but it's possible you've created alises to things on your Panther volume and are running things from there. Nothing to do with (below) however. >Why is Leopard apparently working on my Panther 10.3.9 partition? >destroying old logs? or is it destroying old logs on the Leopard >partition, because something is out of sync on the Panther partition? > >Dec 18 09:29:03 Moonstone-Art-Studio fseventsd[51]: event logs in / >Volumes/Panther 10.3.9/.fseventsd out of sync with volume. >destroying old logs. It's trying to reconcile the indices on your Panther volume, and isn't happy. They were probably corrupted during one of your crashes. It's going to crunch for a while as it rebuilds things. Or... you could just disable Spotlight on that volume. - Dan. -- - Psychoceramic Emeritus; South Jersey, USA, Earth --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed Low End Mac's G3-5 List, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs.
