Hi Folks,
Somewhere in all the upgrading I have been doing I got a glitch in my iPod
that no forum archinves I can find ( including the not-active LEM iPod
forum, and Apples tech pages) has really tackled. It's unusable till I solve
it.
The most obvious malady is that the iPod screen shows the error message "no
card inserted".
It happened right after one of my updates of iTunes software, I don't
remember which. Originally, after the error showed up, the desktop and
iTunes would recognize it, but no longer is it even recognized.
I have done 'reset' numurous times, both from the standard two fingered
approach and from within diagnostics.
I have re-installed iTunes, and OS 10.4.11
Battery is charged, various usb hookups tried.
The 'no card inserted' seems to mean it is trying to default to a camera
photo upload mode - which I have never used.
Thanks for any clues!, Del
