I'm trying to find the recent discussion on moving newer Mac processors to older macs.
I can't remember the topic it came up under. One discussion led to this ref which doesn't help. http://lowendmac.com/musings/08mm/used-power-mac-value.html While I realize the board buss speeds are different can I drop the 1.25 in and it run at a slower speed? Or do I have to stay with the 167 buss board?
