I spent $138 ($69 per stick, which was a *gargantuan* steal at the time) to update my Mac Plus to 512 KB. At those prices, my G4 would take $138,000 to fill up, or very nearly twice the price of our house when we bought it. Of course, populated with 128K sticks, it would also be the SIZE of our house....
