I'd advise against storing food in plastic not made for that purpose. Even reusing plastic bottles that held juice, etc. isn't advisable, because unless they were made for reuse in holding food, plastic containers have chemicals that can leak in tiny amounts into the food. (I suppose that the reusable ones have stronger protective coatings.) I've switched to glass for most of my food storage.
Though I don't have a specific reason, I'd also lean toward not using hard disc platters as saucers. :) On Jan 13, 11:45 pm, KP <[email protected]> wrote: > I use old CD containers, the ones that the CDs' come in from the store, to > store food --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed Low End Mac's G3-5 List, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs.
