Disk drives ARE Hard Drives. Disc drives are optical drives. The easy to remember way is that a "c" is soft and round like a CD or DVD. A "k" is square and hard like a hard drive. > I like having two disk[sic] drives; one on the very top of the tower > and one in the bottom > slot so there is space between the drives you can easily access the > disks[sic]. Nice idea, but the "G5 PowerMac" has only a single optical drive location, so it's a good idea with nowhere to go. > If you have only one disk[sic], then I like having it on the bottom > slot so it is easily accessible if the tower is on top of your desk or > underneath. On the G5 the top is the only location available, but your idea is still good if you have multiple open locations. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed Low End Mac's G3-5 List, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs.
