man 5 crontab and check out the MAIL= option. You can specify a place to send messages that might be generated by scheduled processes. It's part of a wider ability to specify environment variables like PATH for cron jobs. My web host running open BSD allows a complete email address - over the internet - in the MAIL= line but the man page seems to limit it to the name of a local user . I donno the details about how OS neXt handles it. I also don't know what happens if you specify MAIL=NULL. -- --> A fair tax is one that you pay but I don't <-- --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed Low End Mac's G3-5 List, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs.
