Hi Jonas, Yes you are right, the G3 needs a hack that removes the instruction that prevents a G3 firmware from recognizing a G4 CPU. Sonnet has had it for a long time, here: http://www.sonnettech.com/support/downloads/processorupgradecards.html I suspect OWC has it (or something comparable) as well.
