RE: M-Audio Delta 2496 PCI card, with v 2.0.8 drivers, I seem to have
gotten things to work under Tiger, 10.4.11. So far, so good ... (it
was also working under Panther). Hope its not too soon to claim
success ... Manually removing the drivers and associated files from
my 10.5.4 partition, has freed up the Leopard partition to function
well, too.

Under Tiger, I've tested audio under loads from iTunes 8, DVD Player,
Sibelius 5 and Ableton's Live 6. Some extended periods of usage
showed no garbling-out or noise, throwing in loads using the network
connection.

Their instructions for installing their drivers, calls for making
sure they're removed, re-installing the 10.4.11 Combo, then
installing the drivers again.

"Silly"'s not quite the right word ... they think they do ... the
Uninstaller not working under Leopard is one clue ...
