The AHA-2930CU, which has Apple firmware, is a particularly good choice. It has a fast SCSI connector, unlike an earlier model from Adaptec which has a DB-25 connector. The one with the DB-25 connector has substantial compatibility problems under OS X, but apparently not under OS 9. The Nikon scanner, which is fast SCSI, works well with the AHA-2930CU, and that is what I use with my Nikon LS-3510AF scanners. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed Low End Mac's G3-5 List, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs.
