Define 'not working'? Is nothing appearing there? If you click 'Save  
as Draft' does it not do so?

That goes away when you set it to 'delete mail imeediately'

As I said on the 12th, this is a user data issue, not a program issue,  
re-installing Mail or OS X will not fix it.

There's the brute-force approach: copy your ~/Library/Mail folder  
someplace safe, delet the account from Mail, log out and back in then  
recreate the account and import your old mail from the saved copy.
