CS stand for (among other thing), cable select. set the new drive to the cable select setting. Install it on the cable on the other connector besides the fireball. The drive controller will see the new drive as the slave drive. Once you carbon copy it. move it to the cable connector formerly used by the fireball. In cable select, it is the position of the drive on the cable which determines master or slave.
