Either: --------------------------- Use Terminal, in a Terminal command line type: sudo nvram boot-args="-v" To disable Verbose booting: sudo nvram boot-args= --------------------------- alternatively, you can set the verbose mode from the Open Firmware prompt by starting up in Open Firmware by holding the Cmd-Opt-O-F keys at startup, and then at the prompt, type: setenv boot-args -v hitting the Return key after any command. Then type "bye" or "boot" without quotes to restart. Similarly, to disable verbose: setenv boot-args --------------------------- --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed Low End Mac's G3-5 List, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs.
