Awhile ago ... someone suggested using an external HD case setup. S/ he had resurrected a number of drives that had died on an internal bus. Maybe a power issue / amount of umfph (sp?)? That $15 adapter looks interesting ... if its USB 2 plug would work in my USB 1 port ... looks like all the internals of a HD case ... then there's the question of not needing the Windoze software ... Might get one for the fun of it ... and trying to resurrect one of my partners music collection's HDs ... need points ...
