Of all the replies I read I didn't see one which questioned why you can't install iMovie 6 on your machine. I have it on my MDD dual 867 and it runs fine. Naturally it will be faster with a faster system (ask Peter Haas about his tests times), but it does run and I edited most of my VHS movie collection on mine and burned DVD using iDVD.
