Friend has a DA 533 he got in the fall. He's running Tiger. All of the sudden when he boots the machine he says it gets stuck at the apple logo and then it pixelates, then nothing.
He's trying a new battery. He's tried a new hard drive as well but it won't install (same issue I think), and an old hard drive won't boot either (though I am unclear if the old hard drive has other issues perhaps) Any other ideas? I did try to google pixelated logos but didn't come up with too much helpful.
